The Ala Loa Project of Protect Kahoʻolawe restores and preserves Kahoʻolawe Island, revitalizing its cultural, environmental, and community significance. Central to this work is the re-establishment of the Ala Loa trail, reconnecting the island to ancestral practices, sacred sites, and ecological systems. Hawai‘i Pacific Foundation partners with Protect Kahoʻolawe to support educational programs, community engagement, and cultural restoration initiatives. Together, we help ensure future generations can experience and care for this sacred land.
